Flawed is gripping and thought-provoking with a messed up society where anyone deemed less than perfect, anyone who makes the smallest mistake is branded for life as flawed. It’s been a while since a YA book has hooked me quite like this, where I’m up late at night trying to finish it and finding any spare five minutes in the day to read. Flawed is not original by a long shot, but it was fast paced and still entertaining. The main character was a WOC, however it felt like it was tossed in for inclusivity and nothing more. Maybe in book 2 the main character's race will play a role, but as far as book one it felt like it was there just to say it was.

In a society that does not tolerate imperfection, where "flawed" people who have made moral or ethical mistakes are branded with an F, a young girl takes a stand. Flawed (Flawed #1)Online read: Flawed (Flawed #1) ONE. I AM A girl of definitions, of logic, of black and white. Remember this.

The story is Flawed in so many ways. I do like the way we were able to see how the main characters (siblings) were conditioned from a young age.

The relationships Sarah and James have (siblings) is somewhat extreme. They're both forced into a life where fists talk, and derogatry words are spoken filled with hate and malice. They have no one but /5().

I was entertained. From the off, Flawed seemed like an awkward novel, boring at the least, derivative at worst.

Fortunately, it is a novel that rises above its unoriginal premise and becomes something unique. But recently, I had to ask the question; am I allowed to appreciate flawed books still. I found a copy of an old childhood read, The Twins at St.

Written in a blunt and unembellished manner, “Flawed” by Cecelia Ahern is a book that exposes the underbelly of a society which idolizes and demands perfection from its people.

This book was an amazing follow up to 'Flawed' of which both books I have read tpday, unable to put down. What it would be to live in a society that seemingly has rules, but also has none.
